On May 29, 2024, Anika announced her resignation from the Design Gala project on Twitter. The tweet reads, "I will be transferring ownership officially to @WinterSkiis (Ari) effective immediately, and I will be parting ways with the project".

Anika's Legacy on Design Gala

Anika was the founder and chief executive officer of Design Gala. She launched the website on August 1, 2022, and created over 300 wallpapers for launch. Since then, she maintained outlook across website updates, new wallpapers, and team development. As the website matured, over 10 other members have joined her in fueling an economy of new and great wallpapers.

Me, The New Owner

As the new owner of Design Gala, I am promising some changes to the Design Gala platform that will push the platform further than before. Starting with team reconstruction, I will focus on building a strong and stable team that can provide for the community more ways than ever before. I will also be including more ways for the community to get involved as well. Finally, a website redesign (Version 3) that will include my own twist on website design and organization. Stay tuned for news on that this coming Summer.
