Starting July 28, 2023, Design Gala will use Google Analytics tracking software to monitor active activity across the world. We plan to use this information in a way to benefit our team. Through this analytics software, we can see activity on all webpages, including how many visits they received and how long users have spent on a webpage. We are also given access to an approximate location of all users who have visited in the last thirty days. We can also view information such as interactivity with images, buttons, and links. We assure you, this is nothing to fear about, and rather a way that we can improve our website for the future. This information can be used for further decisions such as new wallpapers and features, as well as boost our SEO. The only people who currently have access to this information are the executives from the team -- Anika, Abby, Alyssa, and Felicity. We will not disclose any information outside of our team, and will hold accountable to those who do. We will not be selling any of your user data to any third parties. It is important to note that this website is in the hands of Google, which means that they have the potiential to export user data and place trackers on our website without our knowledge. Design Gala has decided to enable Google Analytics tracking software in a unamious team-wide vote who supported the decision earlier this July. It is believed that this will greatly benefit everybody on the team, and by doing so will only improve the website further than it already has.

Apart from Google Analytics, we do not knowfully track you in any way, shape, or form. We plan to keep Design Gala as tracker-free as possible, and any tracking information we do use will be carefully contained.
