Introducing Smoothie Splash. I'm very happy to finally debut my third wallpaper series with Pixelmator Pro and the first wallpaper series in a few months.

About

This wallpaper series is very much inspired by both the iOS 13 and iOS 17 wallpapers. This kinda morphed into a two tone design, seeing how both of those wallpapers represent two different colors. Then obviously... two tone design made me think of fruit... then smoothies... and yeah. Not rocket science, but you know. 

I ended up landing on eight different color combinations, all of them based on fruit. I'm honestly really happy with these results even though they are pretty basic.

Behind the Scenes

I used Pixelmator Pro for this project. I was literally bored one night, and decided to attempt to remake the iOS 13 wallpaper. Using some of Pixelmator's default shapes, I sort of layered up the wallpaper, and the result was very interesting. Once I got rid of the iOS 13 layer, I experimented a bit, both with color gradiants and scaling, until I finalized the design that you see now.

I ended up deciding against filling in that little gray spot you see, it just didn't look right with it filled in.
