Introducing Scrapped Wallpapers in the Archive
July 3, 2023│WinterSkiis
In our Version 2.0 update, we added a new section for unreleased/scrapped wallpapers in the Museum Archive. However, that was three months ago. Today, we are finally unveiling some of our scrapped wallpapers. These wallpapers were "mostly" finished with a working demo and/or were original versions of wallpapers before being replaced by improved ones. All of these wallpapers have potiential to resurface in improved versions later on down the road.
Blocky Foods
Our famously known Blocky Foods wallpaper series will of course join this series. Famously known for not being updated since the pre-release build of Design Gala, this wallpaper series was scrapped in part of being one of the original few to release with the website release. This was scrapped due to the team disliking this wallpaper series in particular.
Albumaria
Albumaria was a wallpaper series designed around various tracklists and singles. We scrapped this due to it being a significant amount of effort to actually do so. The work displayed shows off Lil Nas X's MONTERO, 7EP, and his unreleased track, Kimbo.
One Month Anniversary
Originally planned for our one month anniversary special (that never happened), this was set to be an exclusive, limited edition wallpaper series to celebrate. This was set to release on September 1, 2022, but never made it. With the celebration as a whole being cancelled, so was this wallpaper series.
Design Gala (OG)
Teased on our Twitter account a couple days ago, we actually made a form of Design Gala wallpapers that were not released with the release of the website. It was even teased in the preview for the website. This was added in as a bonus, since the version was actually released and improved. This demo was scrapped due to formatting issues and design complications.
Dynamic Displays
We teased this wallpaper series in January, which was supposed to show a variety of dynamic designs. This became really complicated and too vague, so it was scrapped. We only have had a few different versions made.
